Job Description

Prolink is seeking experienced Telemetry Registered Nurses (RNs) for a rapid 4-week travel contract at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit, MI. This is a great opportunity to earn premium pay, secure guaranteed hours, and wrap up your assignment before the holidays.

Assignment Details

• Shifts: Days or Nights, 4x12s (48 hours/week)

• Unit: Telemetry

• Beds: 39

• Ratios: 1:6–7

• Contract Length: 4 weeks (rapid completion)

• Orientation: ~4 hours + shadow shift before assignment

• Scheduling: Flexible; management works to accommodate but expects openness to fill gaps

Patient Population & Common Treatments

• Population: Adult & Geriatric

• Common Diagnoses: CHF, pneumonia, telemetry monitoring

• Skills/Treatments:

  • Breathing treatments, CPAP/BiPAP

  • Chest tube setup/care, trach care

  • Blood & blood product administration

  • Cardioversion / defibrillation

  • Telemetry interpretation & 12-lead EKG

  • PCA pumps, drains, feeding tubes, wound vacs

  • PICC/central line care

Ancillary Staff Support

• CNA, LPN/LVN, Tech staff available

Requirements

• Active RN license (MI or compact, no restrictions)

• AHA BLS (additional certs may be required)

• 2+ years recent Telemetry experience preferred

• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
