Job Details:
- Location:Waynesville, NC,and surrounding areas
- Company: Sunbelt Staffing
- Client: Nationwide Home Health Agency
- Duration: 13 weeks with the possibility of extension upon successful completion
- Hours: Full-Time, Scheduled 40 hours per week-32 hours guaranteed
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, occasional weekends, and on-call (typically once per month)
- Productivity: 25 per week
- Compensation: Negotiable based on territory and candidate experience. Weekly paychecks.
- Benefits: .48c mileage reimbursement, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k eligibility after 90 days
Job Requirements:
- ActiveRegistered Nurse (RN)License in the state of North Carolina
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in Oasis and Homecare Homebase required
- Minimum 1 year of hospice experience working in the field
- Reliable transportation
Job Duties:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes or care facilities, focusing on comfort, symptom management, and quality of life.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and update patient records according to hospice policies.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, and promptly report changes to the interdisciplinary team.
- Educate patients and families on disease progression, symptom management, and end-of-life care options.
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and other team members to ensure holistic, patient-centered care.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families, addressing physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of care.
