Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is available in a close-knit K-12 educational setting in Soledad, CA. This contract role spans the entire school year, offering the chance to work within a supportive small-town community.

The position involves managing a split caseload between an elementary school and a high school, with both school sites conveniently located just a block apart. The caseload ranges from 45 to 55 students, providing a diverse and engaging professional experience across multiple grade levels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students K-12.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress.
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress and adjusting therapy approaches as needed.
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing valuable insights and recommendations.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Prior experience working with school-aged children across multiple grade levels.
  • Ability to manage a split caseload efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
