SHIFT: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM\nSTART: ASAP\nType of patients on the unit: Cardiac caths, peripherals, TAVR, devices, etc.\nREQUIRED Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications\n\n• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required from AHA\n• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required from AHA\n• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required within 6 months of hire to work/perform independently at Pediatric facilities\n• One of the following certifications is preferred:\n• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) by CCI\n• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) by CCI\n• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by CCI\n• Radiography (R) by ARRT\n• Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) by ARRT\n• Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) by ARRT\n• Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) by ARRT\n• Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS\n• Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS\n• Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS\n• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS\n\nWeekend Requirement\nYes, every third or fourth weekend\n\nOn Call Requirement\nYes, as selected in collaboration with other staff Summary:\n\nThe Catheterization Laboratory Technician I supports diagnostic, interventional cardiac catheterization, and EP procedures by preparing the lab, equipment, and supplies. This role involves assisting the medical team during procedures, ensuring accurate patient documentation, and maintaining sterile technique. The technician operates and troubleshoots specialized Cath lab equipment, prioritizing patient safety and efficient departmental operations. They also contribute to a collaborative environment by sharing knowledge and adhering to organizational principles and safety standards.
