Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Support patent prosecution processes including drafting and filing patent applications and responses
• Manage trademark portfolio including trademark searches, applications, and maintenance activities
• Assist with copyright registration and protection across company's software and technology products
• Conduct due diligence on intellectual property matters for acquisition targets and business development
• Maintain and organize IP databases, dockets, and filing systems
• Coordinate with outside IP counsel and manage external vendor relationships
• Support IP licensing negotiations and agreement management
• Assist with IP-related research and competitive landscape analysis
• Prepare IP reports and documentation for internal stakeholders and leadership

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of intellectual property paralegal experience
• Strong knowledge of patent, trademark, and copyright processes and procedures
• Experience with IP database management and docketing systems
• Proficiency in USPTO filing procedures and international IP processes
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent education preferred
• Experience supporting acquisition due diligence processes a plus
