Locums Interventional Cardiology, Arkansas - Weekends or Full Weeks

Ongoing locums assignment in Arkansas for interventional cardiology with weekend and monthly block options still available.

Highlights

• Only 1-2 weeks per month; you pick the dates
• Weekend-only coverage option (Fri 7a - Mon 7a)
• Ongoing need starting this fall

Practice Setting

• Inpatient hospital-based role
• 2 full-time interventional cardiologists on staff
• 2 experienced cardiology APPs assist with rounding and take first call
• Supportive ER team; no structural cases or CV backup

Schedule

• Mix of weekdays and weekends available
• Flexible blocks; 7-14 days/month
• Critical weekend call coverage need: 7a Friday - 7a Monday
• No long-term commitment required

Cases and Procedures

• STEMIs, emergent PCI, inpatient rounding/consults
• Average 5-8 STEMIs/month
• Includes general cardiology call (echo reads, etc.)

Requirements

• Board certified or eligible (within 5 years) in Interventional Cardiology
• Active Arkansas license required
• Must hold ACLS, BLS, DEA

Travel Accommodations

• All travel costs covered: mileage, lodging, rental car, and airfare
• Closest major airport: Memphis International Airport (130 miles)
