A locum tenens opportunity is available for a Hematology/Oncology Physician within an outpatient clinic setting in Cooperstown, NY. Provide specialized care in both hematology and oncology, supported by a team comprising a physician and nurse practitioner onsite. The schedule involves a full-time commitment with flexible start dates and an ongoing duration until a permanent hire is made.

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat a variety of hematology and oncology cases.
• Provide care consistent with professional standards in collaboration with the onsite medical team.
• Perform procedures such as bone marrow tests, as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have an active NY medical license.
• Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology is required.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC, is preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-time schedule with shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Skills

• Proficiency in diagnosing and treating hematologic and oncologic conditions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with the support team.
• Ability to handle both benign and malignant hematology cases.
