Job Description
Are you an experienced Material Handler with a background in plastics or injection molding? Looking for a long-term opportunity with solid pay and growth potential? We're hiring for a hands-on, high-impact role that's more than just your average warehouse position.
- Pay: $20–$26/hr + $2.50/hr shift differential. Potential to earn more for strong experience and tenure.
- 3rd shift Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Location: Forest Lake, MN
- Temp-to-Hire position with potential for Direct Hire based on skills and experience.
- Training: Must be available to train on 1st shift for a few weeks
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Issue and return raw materials, components, and packaging to and from production areas
- Mix and blend colorants with base resin using tumblers, scales, and manual methods
- Track and reconcile materials using ERP (Epicor) for inventory accuracy
- Perform line clearance and maintain clean, compliant workspaces
- Cross-train and provide backup support to Molding or Assembly teams when needed
- Maintain cycle counts and participate in ongoing inventory control
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year experience in a plastics manufacturing/injection molding environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Comfortable using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Familiarity with inventory systems like Epicor or barcode-based systems
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently with limited supervision
- Must be able to train on 1st shift (day shift) for a few weeks
Physical Demands:
Walking, sitting, standing, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, and fingers are physical requirements. Must have correctable eyesight and good depth perception. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and move objects in a safe manner using proper equipment. Must have dexterity with hands.
Protective Clothing Required:
When in certain locations of the facility, eye and ear protection are required. Closed-toed/ Slip resistant shoes are also required in certain locations.
