DRYER OPERATOR

Allied Reliability is seeking an experienced Dryer Operator for a temp to hire opportunity with one of our premier clients in the Avenel, NJ area. 

Position Responsibilities: 

• Review open orders report and prepare staging forms for future shipments.
• Ensure all loads are labeled, stenciled, and braced appropriately.
• Maintain appearance of warehouse and shipping docks.
• Unload packaged raw materials and store in appropriate rack.
• Monitor empty drum inventory and inform supervisor when drums are needed, assist in unloading.
• Receive non inventory deliveries, check for accuracy, receive PO into system.
• Monitor inventory for consumables (e.g. pallets, shrink wrap, Tygard, seals).
• Re-package damaged drums and handle customer returns.
• Load and unload trucks, containers.
• Print labels.
• Produce shipment paperwork.
• Process shipments and receipts in Chempax.
• Conduct routine cycle counts.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Responsible Care Management System®.
• Fill open shifts in production operator schedule when vacations and short-term leave occurs (may be on short notice).
• Have the competency to run dryers 1-4 and 5+6.
• Develop the competency to run liquids.
• Load and unload bulk trucks.
• Produce batches.
• Transfer products in tank.
• Perform Chempax production entry.
• Perform in process testing.
• Check for errors in inventory and correct.
• Enter data into Synergy.

Position Requirements: 

• At least 1 or more years of experience in a similar role required. 
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
