Job Summary
We are looking for a competent Dental Office Receptionist to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the Dental Office. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. The ideal candidate has a cheerful disposition, excellent communication, and computer skills, and is capable of multitasking.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with paperwork, including consent forms
- Maintain a clean and inviting environment
- Provide general customer service and attend to the needs of customers throughout their services
- Organize office and assist Dentist and Dental Staff in ways that optimize procedures
- Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
- Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
- Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
- Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
- Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
- Perform receptionist duties when needed
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience as a receptionist or similar role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with a commitment to customer service
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- Proven experience as a Dental Office Assistant/Receptionist, or in another relevant administrative role
- Knowledge of computer systems (Dental software Dentrix)
- Working knowledge of Dental Office equipment
- Thorough understanding of office management procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both face to face and by phone)
