What we're looking for
Education: college degree in biology or biology related field or 2 years work experience as a lab technician.
Who you are:
- Prepare specimens for raw material stock through fixation, sub-culture, sectioning, mounting, sexing, etc. and labeling correctly, QC
- Maintenance of specimens being used for production - stocking, restocking, etc.
- Knowledge of plant or animal anatomy and physiology and sterile technique- to understand and be comfortable with what needs to prepare and how to prepare it - acquired through education and experience.
- to self and others- acquired through company training and experience.
- Knowledge of quality material- to determine if specimen meets quality standard- acquired through experience
- Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity- to be able to perform required fine dissections and sorting.
- Acquired through experience and repetition.

Pay Transparency:
The expected pre-tax pay for this position is
$37,500.00 - $62,400.00Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
