The Surveillance Operator conducts continuous surveillance of all areas of the casino via floor surveillance and the use of the CCTV system, as directed by the Surveillance Supervisor, Surveillance Senior Operators, or the Manager, in compliance with Commission, departmental, and company regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Surveillance Manager, Supervisor, or Senior Operator.
- Supports other Managers, Directors, and Executives with assistance and information relating to the protection of assets in their respective departments, as well as fellow Operators in the performance of their duties.
- Understand and cooperate fully with all Departmental and Company policies, including the “open door” policy.
- Continuously monitor CCTV, closely scrutinizing all activities within camera range to ensure the protection of company assets.
- Maintain a professional relationship with Commission members and their Agents.
- Accurately and quickly perform duties as assigned.
- Complete necessary paperwork accurately and promptly.
- Maintain or augment skills through review and self-study.
- Complete any other tasks that may be assigned by Surveillance Senior Operators, Supervisor, or the Manager to the best of their ability.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Missouri Gaming License.
Education: High school graduate or GED.
Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
- Must be capable of independently performing all job duties.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
