The ideal candidate will assist in providing legal services to clients, focusing on various areas of law, including litigation and employment law. The Associate Attorney will play a crucial role in case preparation, client consultations, and legal research, contributing to successful case outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and management of cases
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and contracts
- Participate in client meetings and consultations
- Represent clients in court and at depositions as needed
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategies and legal guidance
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active state bar license
- 1-3 years of experience in a legal setting preferred
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of litigation, employment law, and workers compensation is a plus
