Title: Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist
Location: Potsdam, NY
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform baseline and specialized sleep studies including polysomnography for adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
- Operate Alice sleep software and related monitoring equipment (ECG, EEG, End-Tidal CO2, O2 saturation, PLM, RIP).
- Conduct mask fittings (full face, nasal mask, nasal pillow) and monitor patient status during studies.
- Score and interpret sleep stages, respiratory events, and arousals following protocols.
- Provide patient education and maintain infection control standards.
- Document procedures and results using Epic EMR system.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of polysomnography experience.
- NY state license required.
- BLS and RPSGT certifications.
- Experience with Alice sleep software and Epic charting system.
- Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:2 during night shifts.
- Preferred experience in independent lab settings and community hospitals.
