Maintenance Manager

Our client is seeking a proactive and strategic Maintenance Manager (HVAC/Robotics/High Temp) to lead our maintenance and reliability operations at our advanced manufacturing facility.

Summary:

This role is essential to ensuring uptime, efficiency, and safety across all plant equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong background in industrial maintenance, preventative programs, and team development. Manage across all shifts, including Maintenance and Calibration (45 Mechanics and Electricians). On-Call Yes, however rarely something that requires being onsite, usually just answering texts or calls.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily maintenance activities, including mechanical, electrical, and facility systems
• Attend morning changeover meetings, review work orders, troubleshoot problems, manager PM’s for the day, manage budget and spare parts
• Develop, implement, and optimize predictive and preventative maintenance strategies
• Supervise and mentor a skilled team of maintenance technicians and contractors
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and internal safety protocols
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and lead root-cause analysis initiatives
• Manage the maintenance budget, spare parts inventory, and procurement processes
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality departments to support operational goals
• Maintain CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) data integrity
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on reliability and asset utilization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or related field (preferred)
• 5+ years in maintenance leadership within a manufacturing or industrial setting
• HVAC (general maintenance and servicing large facilities)
• Robotics (automation, troubleshooting and service)
• Preventative maintenance, working in high temperature areas and around high pressure machines/chemicals
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs
• Proven experience implementing PM and TPM programs
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and reliability-centered maintenance
• Proficient with CMMS and maintenance KPI tracking
