Job Title: OB/Gyn Laborist
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Location: Munster, IN
Service Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
Schedule: 144 hours of service per month (1,728 hours annually)
On-Call Expectations: Phone availability required
Start Date: Approximately 90120 days post-offer, pending credentialing PATIENT POPULATION & SCOPE
Patient Demographics: Obstetric and gynecologic patients
Admissions & Rounding: Included
Consults & Follow-Ups: Yes
Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: Labor and Delivery, OB/Gyn procedures FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS
EMR System: Epic HIMSS Stage VII
Specialty Backup: Nurse practitioner support in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Support Staff: Collegial team of system physicians
Leadership & Reporting Structure: Hospital-employed physician model
Reason for Opening: Growth and expansion of women's health services CREDENTIALING & COMPLIANCE

Requirements: BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology
