Surgical Technologist

Non-Certified Surgical Technologist – Full-Time

This role is ideal for individuals with technical training and OR experience, who are passionate about patient care and surgical excellence.

Summary

Supports surgical teams by preparing operating rooms, assisting in patient positioning, maintaining sterile fields, and ensuring instruments and supplies are in place for procedures. Plays a key role in maintaining safety and efficiency during surgery while delivering patient-centered care under the direction of a licensed nurse or surgical team member.

What You’ll Do

• Assists in surgical room setup and cleanup, including organizing instruments and equipment.
• Maintains sterile field and assists with patient positioning and prepping.
• Provides support to surgical team during procedures including passing instruments and supplies.
• Helps manage specimen collection and proper documentation.
• Monitors compliance with safety and aseptic standards.
• Participates in maintaining inventory and restocking surgical areas.
• Works under direction of licensed surgical team members.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a Surgical Technology program or relevant clinical training strongly preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• At least 1 year of experience in surgical or healthcare support roles preferred.

Compensation & Scheduling

Compensation

- Hourly rates: $25.76 - $35.42 based on experience

 - 1 year: $26.73

 - 5 years: $30.59

 - 10 years/max: $35.42

- Shift Differentials:

 - Nights (7p–7a): $3.00

 - Evenings (7p–7a): $3.00

 - Weekends: 10% of base pay

- Sign-on Bonus: Not available at this time

- Certification: BLS required; CST preferred (additional $0.50/hour if certified)

Scheduling

- Shifts: Days, 6AM–4PM (4x10s)

- On-Call: Required, 1 day per week with post-call day off

- Weekend: Every 5th weekend
