Full-Time Pre-K Co-Teacher

Summary

We are seeking a caring, energetic, and collaborative Pre-K Co-Teacher to join our early childhood education team. As a Co-Teacher, you will work closely with the lead teacher to create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of young children.
This is a full-time position with consistent daytime hours, ideal for someone passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a lasting impact on young learners.

Duties

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and lessons.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, meals, rest time, and transitions
• Encourage positive behavior and model appropriate social skills
• Communicate effectively and professionally with children, parents, and staff
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school events
• Contribute to a warm, inclusive, and respectful classroom culture

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CDA(Child Development Associate) credential preferred but not required
• Prior experience working with preschool-aged children strongly preferred
• Passion for early childhood education and child development
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and be active throughout the day

Nice To Haves

• CDA(Child Development Associate) credential preferred but not required, OR an associate's degree.
