JOB OVERVIEW

• Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday day (afternoon), Tuesday OR all day, Thursday Clinic all day
• On-Call Shift Schedule: Nightly call on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays; 24/7 call coverage for other days COVERAGE DATES
• Coverage starting as soon as credentialed, through 4/17/2026

PATIENT INFORMATION

• Patient Demographics: Pediatric
• Patient Volume/Census: Minimum 6 patients per session (half day)
• Case Mix: Pediatric Urology Surgical and Clinic Cases

FACILITY INFORMATION

• Trauma Level: Level 1
• EMR System: Epic (Clinic EMR same as Hospital EMR)
• Support Staff Available: Yes works with APP; 1 mid-level under locum's responsibility
• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered
• Rate: $300/hr + $325 for call back; $2500/ day for 24hr call coverage + $300 for call back after 3 hrs of gratis REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Pediatric urology surgical cases
• Outpatient clinic consultations
• Anticipated procedures/surgeries: OR all day Tuesday

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active Vermont medical license or ability to obtain
• Board: BC/BE in Urology
• DEA: Active DEA Certification
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Experience: Pediatric urology experience preferred
• Other Qualifications: Respect, kindness, and commitment to excellent quality care

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide pediatric urology surgical and clinical care
• Perform surgical cases and outpatient consultations
• Collaborate with APPs and oversee one mid-level provider
• Participate in call coverage as required
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR
