Hiring Material Handlers!

Looking for motivated Material Handlers familiar with med device environment experience and SAP/ERP knowledge.
• Perform daily cycle counts; updates computer system to track transactions; performs data entry;
• Perform advanced kitting assignments to meet production schedules.
Job Overview:

This job requires an ambitious and hardworking professional who can work an entire shift on his or her feet. The Material Handler will be required to pay careful attention on the job, follow written and verbal instructions precisely and double-check his or her work before completing a task. Employee may support a variety of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse, sorting material and setting up material for production use.  The employee must demonstrate commitment to all safety standards at all times and work cooperatively with team members and supervisors. Additionally, the employee is expected to keep the work area clean and organized, report any  issues to lead ASAP read and follow written job instructions precisely, double check work for accuracy, sorting material and setting up material for production use.

General Summary:
Position will be responsible for duties within Shipping / Receiving department .Check all incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy. Keep neat and orderly records. Always demonstrate commitment to all safety standards. Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors and ability to work independently. Read and follow written job instructions precisely.
Responsible for the physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.

Min Qualifications:
High School Diploma  Computer skills associated with material Receiving.
Previous experience in either shipping, receiving or warehousing.
Ability to multi-task and remain calm under extreme pressure.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to sit or stand for 8+ hours per day.
Must be able to lift to 35 lbs occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications:
Past Receiving/Shipping/Material Handling/Warehousing experience.
Forklift experience a plus / use of pallet jacks 

Job Requirements:
Computer skills associated with material Receiving and/or Shipping.
Reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills are necessary.
Previous experience in either shipping, receiving or warehousing.

Pay rate DOE $17.25 - $19.00/hr DOE
