Job Description
Location: Newport, New Hampshire
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Day Shift, One Evening/Week), 1:10 Call Rotation
Client is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician for a permanent role that blends direct patient care with clinical leadership. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a collaborative team of six providers while delivering high-quality care in a rural outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:Provide full-spectrum outpatient family medicine care to 16–18 patients per day
Serve as Medical Director, dedicating ~12 hours/week to clinical operations, support, and quality improvement
Participate in a 1:10 call rotation (evenings, nights, and weekends)
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
Engage in leadership meetings, credentialing oversight, compliance, and community outreach
Collaborate with a seasoned team of primary care providers in a patient-focused rural health environment
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine – Required
Active or eligible for New Hampshire medical license – Required
BLS certification – Required
Must manage 16–18 patients/day – Required
Local drive-in candidate – Highly preferred
Must be open to relocation
Competitive base salary with additional stipend for Medical Director duties
