Position Overview

A regional referral and Level II trauma center in Dothan, Alabama is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurosurgeon to join a well-established Neurosciences Clinic. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team providing both spinal and cranial neurosurgical care in a collaborative, state-of-the-art environment.

Practice Highlights

• Hospital-employed position

• Join a team of two neurosurgeons (General and Cerebrovascular/Endovascular fellowship trained) plus neurologists and neurohospitalists

• Mix of spinal and cranial cases required

• Call shared at 1:3 ratio

• Dedicated APP support for rounding and consults

• Coverage for only one hospital, no travel required

• Onsite clinic with immediate access to hospital, ED, and surgical suites

• 420-bed regional referral and trauma center

• Level II trauma designation with comprehensive 24/7 subspecialty support

• 22 operating rooms, including dedicated endovascular suites

• Dedicated Neurointerventional Lab with Siemens Artis Q Biplane

• 10-bed Neurocritical Care Unit

• O-arm imaging system and state-of-the-art neurosurgical equipment

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary above 80th MGMA percentile with wRVU potential
