OB/GYN Physician opening | Santa Rosa, CASonoma County — Northern California Wine Country## Position Details FT, permanent Setting: Inpatient and outpatient — Level I Trauma facility Schedule: 3.5 days patient-facing and 1 day in the OR per week — clinic hours 8:30a–5:00p Call: Scheduled clinical hours plus beeper call — 5 days per month hospital call Call response time: 30 minutes EMR: Epic Credentialing timeframe: 60 days California license required — will consider candidates who have applied; allow 2–6 months processing Stroke Certified facility Malpractice insurance provided by vendor## Practice OverviewSeeking a BE/BC OB/GYN Physician to fill an ongoing vacancy at an inpatient and outpatient practice in Sonoma County: 16 patients per shift Support staff includes 1 RN, 6 MAs, 4 PA/NPs, and 2 office staff No resident or teaching supervision required No supervision of advanced practice providers required Fellowship required## Required Clinical Skills Low and high-risk pregnancy management FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE OB ultrasounds — Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted Routine vaginal delivery and low forceps Decision-making for C-section Complicated deliveries including C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations Office/minor gynecology including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP Surgical gynecology — open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor (tubal ligation, LOA, chromopertubation), and operative/major (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA) Nexplanon insertion Pessary fitting## Required Qualifications MD or DO — Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Fellowship required California license or willingness to obtain — candidates who have applied for CA license accepted; process takes 2–6 months, begin immediately if interested Licensing reimbursement not available Clean background required## About the Community – Santa Rosa, California Vibrant city in the heart of Sonoma County — world-renowned wine country Exceptional dining, arts, and cultural scene Gateway to hundreds of award-winning wineries and the Russian River Valley Abundant outdoor recreation including hiking, cycling, and kayaking Excellent schools and family-friendly neighborhoods Easy access to San Francisco — approximately 55 miles south Charles M.
