Job Description & Requirements

• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights

• Staffing: 3–4 RNs + PCTs, patient ratios 1:4–5.
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, every other weekend or 4 shifts/month.
• Population: Post-cardiac cath, EP studies, device placements, surgical (cardiac, thoracic, ortho, general).
• Procedures: Chest tubes, epidurals, PCA, cardiac drips (NTG, Cardizem, Amiodarone).
• Must-Have Skills: PCU experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, surgical patient care, chest tube & epidural management.
• Preferred: Strong teamwork and time management with high turnover.
• Personality Fit: Outgoing, team-oriented, patient-focused.
• Certifications: BLS & ACLS required.

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·         PCU experience

·         Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and surgical patients

·         Chest tube management, epidurals

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·         Teamwork ability
