POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Quality Supervisor & Customer Quality Auditor to ensure our vehicles meet the highest standards of quality and exceed customer expectations. In this role, you will lead and develop quality inspection and SQA teams, act as the “eyes of the customer” through audits, and drive the realization of the Group Quality Plan within our manufacturing facility.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
· Lives and role models the company values and culture at all times.
· Lead, coach, and support the inspection and supplier quality assurance (SQA) teams to achieve quality and customer satisfaction goals.
· Conduct Customer Quality Audits (CQA), provide feedback on scores, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
· Oversee compliance with quality policies, processes, and regulatory requirements in partnership with the Head of Quality.
· Ensure quality standards for both vehicle builds and incoming materials, holding teams accountable for non-conformance.
· Act as escalation point for major and critical quality concerns within the plant.
· Analyze, monitor, and communicate quality performance through defined KPIs and weekly status reports.
· Conduct line inspections at any stage of the build when required.
· Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to ensure product conformance and adherence to build plans.
· Foster continuous improvement across functions by promoting problem-solving, effective communication, and visible results.
· Develop and cross-train your team, ensuring skills growth and readiness to meet future challenges.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
· 3+ years of manufacturing experience in a quality-focused role.
· Working knowledge of BS EN ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent quality standards.
· Experience with problem-solving methods (root cause analysis, 8D).
· Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and monitor quality trends.
· Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and engage small teams.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence across levels and functions.
· Experience in auditing systems, processes, and products.
· Strong planning, organizational, and conflict resolution abilities.
· Experience in continuous improvement initiatives within a complex manufacturing environment.
· Flexibility to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Willingness to work outside of normal business hours when required.
· Experience with IATF 16949 standards and/or vehicle manufacturing preferred
