Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and a ME or compact license for a day-shift assignment in an acute care physical therapy setting.
Responsibilities- Work in an acute care physical therapy unit
- Day shift schedule from 7:00AM to 5:30PM, 40 hours per week
- Flu vaccination can be received at local designated clinics or pharmacies
- Medical exemption requests for vaccinations require a minimum of two weeks for review
- Work involves providing physical therapy services to acute care patients in a hospital environment
- Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in physical therapy required
- Current compact or ME Physical Therapist license required if applicable
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration
- Current Driver’s License required
- Flu vaccination required for start dates after 9/30/2024, with medical exemptions considered
- Candidates must not have worked at any Northern Light Health Hospital in a permanent capacity
- Two professional references from the last year required, including at least one from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge
- Candidate's permanent address must be 100+ miles south or southwest of Bangor, Maine
