Job Overview:
Winston Retail is excited to partner with Superbike, the world’s lightest and most advanced e-bike series, for a new pop-up location in San Diego. The Selling Specialist/Key Holder will partner with the Store Sales Manager to be another point of contact for Winston for this project. They are the inspirational leader who motivates the team to deliver superior customer service, operational excellence, and sales results.
The Selling Specialist/Key Holder, in partnership with the Store Sales Manager, is responsible for driving the daily business, ensuring proper opening and closing procedures, and setting the pace for the team. They will be trained to be experts in Superbike technology and brand standards, oversee test ride scheduling, and ensure merchandising is aligned with client guidelines. This role represents both Winston and Superbike by engaging with customers, educating them on product features and benefits, and converting shoppers into loyal riders. Reporting, communication, and store standards are essential to success.

- Promotes a culture that strongly represents the Superbike brand and delivers an elevated customer experience through engagement, test rides, and product education.
- Ensures operational excellence by following Winston Retail opening and closing procedures.
- Works to achieve sales goals and deliver superior service.
- Partners with the team to drive multiple transactions, productivity, and store performance.
- Ensures merchandising follows client-provided planograms and store standards.
- Provides daily store visit reports with photos via Winston’s proprietary reporting app, including opportunities to drive sales.
- Elevates staffing, product, or signage issues to Winston Regional Management when Store Sales Manager is not on-site
- Maintains store cleanliness, safety, and organization for a seamless shopper journey.
- Acts as the primary contact for customer escalations and feedback when Store Sales Manager is not on-site
- Adhere to all Winston policies and procedures
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures.
- All other work-related duties as assigned by Store Management or Winston Regional Management.
- Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device
- Smartphones are required for reporting:
- iOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer
- Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the lates
Experience & Skills:
- 3–5+ years of management experience within a department, specialty, or retail store.
- Proven ability to drive sales and motivate a team to achieve goals.
- Energetic, personable, and customer-first mentality.
- Passion for innovative products and ability to communicate technical features.
- Tech-savvy with confidence using POS systems, mobile apps, and reporting tools.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience training staff on product knowledge and customer engagement.
- Reliable and committed for the full project duration.
- Proficient in mobile photography for reporting (before/after photos to showcase work).
- Smartphone device for reporting (Android OS 8.0+ or Apple iOS 8.0+).
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for the duration of shifts.
- Available to work a flexible retail schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, extended hours, and holidays.
