Senior Python Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join our team. You’ll play a key role in shaping our backend architecture, building scalable APIs, and integrating with AI/LLM pipelines. If you want to see your work directly impact users, this is the place.

What You’ll Work On

• Design, build, and scale backend services using modern Python (async/await, FastAPI)
• Own API development end-to-end: routing, validation, error handling, performance, security
• Develop real-time, event-driven systems and streaming pipelines (Kafka or equivalent)
• Model and evolve data schemas for relational and document databases
• Implement secure authentication and authorization flows
• Deploy and manage services in cloud environments with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes, AWS)
• Apply clean, maintainable patterns (Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design)
• Ship features that integrate with AI/LLM-based agentic workflows
• Build observability practices (logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards)
• Participate in code reviews, mentor team members, and uphold engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly to ensure reliability

Requirements

• 5+ years professional backend experience with Python
• Strong track record building secure, high-performance APIs
• Hands-on experience with async frameworks (FastAPI, asyncio, etc.)
• Solid understanding of event-driven/distributed systems and inter-service communication
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases and data modeling
• Experience with cloud-native deployments and containerization
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Familiarity with observability tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong testing discipline and ability to deliver reliable, maintainable systems

Nice to Have

• Experience with LLM/agent-based systems and prompt engineering
• Background with Kafka or other streaming/messaging platforms
• Familiarity with data privacy, compliance, and security standards
• Experience in early-stage startup environments
