Travel RN Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Unit

Job Overview

The Med/Surg RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsibilities include:

• Delivering therapeutic and restorative care
• Administering medications and treatments
• Performing wound care, IV therapy, catheterization, and specimen collection
• Educating patients and families
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Documenting care in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
• Floating to other CommonSpirit locations within 60 miles if needed

Experience & Qualifications

• Required Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience
• Licensure:
  • Active Kansas RN license or valid compact license required at submission
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Education:
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
