Assembler

The assembler will perform a wide range of assembly tasks throughout the plant, which require some skills and minimal training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Works from written or verbal orders, prints, instructions, and directions
* These tasks may include assisting on machinery, assisting in packaging of products, transporting or storing of materials, assist in Shipping and Receiving loading and unloading trucks
* Be able to perform daily inspections maintain equipment when necessary; work in crating, move a variety of materials, etc.
* Uses air tools, saws, drills, and hand tools
* Detects and reports defective or unsafe equipment and materials as well as unusual situations to supervisor
* Observes and obeys all safety rules, practices, and procedures
* Wears and employs personal protective equipment as required
* Perform other similar or related duties as required or requested
