Inside sales Representative - Full-time

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and outside sales through regular phone and email communication.
• Prepare accurate quotes and sales data for customers and the sales team.
• Actively seek new markets and opportunities for Spuncast products.
• Serve as a liaison between customers, manufacturing, and outside sales to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.
• Resolve customer order issues and complaints with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Collect, analyze, and prepare market and customer information, including cost, quality, lead times, and terms of sale.
• Coordinate and host customer visits, ensuring clear communication with office and plant personnel.
• Conduct comparative pricing, market analysis, and support special projects for sales management.
• Maintain accurate customer files, sales databases, and catalogs.
• Participate in public relations activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned and adhere to Spuncast’s Core Values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Liberal Arts, or a related field preferred; or 5 years of relevant experience.
• 6 months or more of engineering or sales experience preferred.
• Familiarity with a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn within the first month.
• Strong analytical and math skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate tact and diplomacy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
