Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Rehab
Location: Harrisonville, MO
Start Date: 10/6/2025
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (35 hrs/week guaranteed)
Shift Notes: Start time must be between 6 AM–10 AM and remain consistent.
Weekend Requirements: None (unless making up hours)
On Call Requirements: None

Position Summary:
HumanEdge Health is seeking a Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a rehab team in Harrisonville, MO. The SLP will evaluate, develop, and implement treatment plans for patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities include patient screenings, evidence-based interventions, progress tracking, family/caregiver consultation, and collaboration with the care team.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and rehabilitate patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders.

• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based interventions.

• Document patient progress and modify treatment as necessary.

• Provide education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.

• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and required trainings.

• Supervise and support CFY or student SLPs as needed.

• Maintain adherence to ASHA and state practice standards and ethics.

Unit/Setting:

• Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC/SNF) environment

Qualifications:

• 1 year of SLP experience – Required

• New grads welcome (must have Level II experience, not observation only)

• LTC or SNF experience – Required

• Missouri State License – Required

• CCC certification – Required

• 3 years with active CCS – Preferred
