Position Summary:
McCabe Restoration is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Associate to cultivate and expand our market presence within the Northern and Northeastern Mississippi territory. This role will be instrumental in identifying, nurturing, and translating new business opportunities into tangible growth for the company. The Business Development Associate will act as a critical liaison, communicating valuable market insights and potential leads directly to the Business Development Manager. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for building relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for new business development opportunities within the assigned territory, effectively identifying and qualifying leads. Promptly and accurately communicate all relevant information, including potential client needs, project scope, and competitive intelligence, to the Business Development Manager.
- Route Marketing: Develop and execute strategic route marketing plans to increase brand visibility and generate leads within key geographic areas. This includes regular visits to potential clients, networking with local businesses, and distributing marketing materials.
- Trade Association Events: Represent McCabe Restoration at industry-specific trade association events, conferences, and expos. Network with key stakeholders, cultivate relationships, and identify new business prospects.
- Community Outreach: Engage in local community outreach initiatives to build brand awareness, foster positive relationships, and identify potential partnerships. This may include participating in local events, sponsoring community programs, or collaborating with non-profit organizations.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with prospective clients, referral sources, and key industry influencers.
- Market Research: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the restoration industry in the Northern and Northeastern Mississippi territory. Provide regular reports and insights to the Business Development Manager.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads and provide support as needed throughout the sales cycle.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all business development activities, leads, and progress in the CRM system. Provide regular reports on performance metrics and territory growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related client-facing role, preferably within the construction, restoration, or service industry.
- Proven ability to identify and generate new business opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required, as significant travel within the assigned territory is necessary.
- Residency within the Northern or Northeastern Mississippi territory is highly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of marketing materials or display equipment.
