Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management system
Working Conditions
· Work is primarily conducted in a professional office setting.
· Regular site visits to program locations (e.g., schools, community centers, or partner sites) are required.
· The role requires flexibility to accommodate after-school and summer program hours, which may include occasional evenings and weekends.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to move through program sites, including walking, standing, and occasional bending or lifting.
· Ability to lift and transport materials or supplies up to 25 pounds.
· Visual acuity to read documents, screens, and program materials.
· Ability to communicate effectively with staff, participants, and community partners in person, by phone, and via email.
· Must be able to maintain composure and professionalism in dynamic or high-energy program environments.
Job Summary
The Program Coordinator plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of afterschool and summer programs that provide therapeutic services to youth. This position serves as a liaison between facilitators, program directors, and other key stakeholders to ensure program effectiveness, compliance, and high-quality service delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Review and assess program documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
· Monitor program performance and adherence to policies and procedures, including in-person site visits.
· Identify areas for improvement and work with facilitators/directors to implement corrective actions
· Serve as the primary point of contact between facilitators, program directors, and organizational leadership.
· Provide ongoing support and guidance to program staff.
· Facilitate regular meetings to discuss program updates, challenges, and best practices.
· Conduct scheduled and unannounced site visits to assess program operations and service quality.
· Ensure that youth participants receive appropriate services in a safe and structured environment. Provide feedback and recommendations to enhance program effectiveness.
· Maintain accurate records of program activities, compliance findings, and corrective actions. Prepare reports summarizing program performance and compliance status.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in social work, Psychology, Education, or a related field or adequate work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in program coordination, behavioral health, mentoring, or youth services.
• Understanding of therapeutic services for youth and program compliance standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to conduct site visits and travel as needed.
