The EA should be a dynamic individual who is proactive in anticipating and adapting to the needs of the GCE team and is focused on accuracy, speed, flexibility and attention to detail. The ideal candidate must be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative-related tasks and be able to work in a fast-paced organization, managing multiple tasks and competing priorities. Critical to the success of this position are strong communication skills, a team-player attitude and the ability to develop positive working relationships with a wide range of colleagues both within and outside of American Express. This is a unique opportunity to interact with the external regulatory community and senior management offices at American Express./span/pp class="MsoNormal"spanstrongKey Responsibilities:/strong/span/pul type="disc"li class="MsoNormal"spanEVP calendar management, including the coordination of complex meetings and events with internal senior leaders and external stakeholders/span/lili class="MsoNormal"spanSupport the GCE EAs/team with external meetings and conferences, including scheduling, logistics, receiving in-person visitors to the office, and attendance tracking/span/lili class="MsoNormal"spanMaintain GCE email distribution lists/span/lili class="MsoNormal"spanSupport colleague engagement activities in coordination with Chief of Staff/span/lili class="MsoNormal"spanPrepare, review, and process expense reports, and ensure TE is in line with company policy and budget/span/lili class="MsoNormal"spanSupport team administration including onboarding for new hires, coordinating with real estate, setting up group wide team meetings and coordination of special projects/span/lili class="MsoNormal"spanProcess contract invoices and purchase orders in Ariba/span/lili class="MsoNormal"spanBooking and coordinating travel arrangements for EVP/span/lili class="MsoNormal"spanSupport other admin responsibilities: ordering supplies, maintaining team org chart, and ad-hoc projects/span/lili class="MsoNormal"spanBuild relationships with key partners across the company, including CEO/GRC offices, Corporate Secretary, General Counsel’s Office, external consultants, and regulators/span/li/ulp class="MsoNormal"spanstrongMinimum Qualifications:/strong/span/pul type="disc"li class="MsoNormal"spanProven experience (at least 4 years) working in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environment with senior executives and C-suite offices/span/lili class="MsoNormal"spanExcellent organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills, demonstrating good judgment in dealing with senior executive offices and key stakeholders/span/lili class="MsoNormal"spanStrong attention to detail with timely follow-up/span/lili class="MsoNormal"spanExcellent communication (oral, written, listening) skills, a positive attitude and solution-oriented demeanor/span/lili class="MsoNormal"spanStrong sense of integrity with ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion/span/lili class="MsoNormal"spanAbility to prioritize multiple tasks with minimal guidance and to proactively identify and resolve issues/span/lili class="MsoNormal"spanStrong calendar management expertise and a working knowledge of common administrative systems and processes (e.g., purchasing, travel, expense management, etc)/span/lili class="MsoNormal"spanProficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint/span/lili class="MsoNormal"spanProactive in anticipating needs of stakeholders and responsive to requests in a timely, efficient manner/span/lili class="MsoNormal"spanBe onsite 3 days a week and when there are Board or committee meetings, subject to change as needs evolve/span/li/ulp class="MsoNormal"spanstrongPreferred Qualifications:/strong/span/pul type="disc"li class="MsoNormal"spanPrevious experience in financial services and/or risk management/span/lili class="MsoNormal"spanNatural curiosity to lean in even when objectives are ambiguous/span/li/ulbr
