VCC is an equal opportunity employer./p h2Responsibilities/h2 pOperate shuttle vehicle primarily between VCC and local sites in San Diego’s North County area.  Transport patients and clients in a safe, efficient and positive customer- focused manner. May provide courier services between clinic sites./p ul liAssist riders in mounting and/or dismounting vehicle including installing and securing child safety seats/li liMaintain transportation schedules for patients/li liMaintain transportation logs and submit to supervisor on a monthly basis/li liEnsure regular maintenance is performed and any mechanical issues are addressed immediately, including cleaning/li liEnforce no eating, drinking or smoking policy by riders inside van/li liComplete and submit vehicle inspection reports/li /ul h2Qualifications/h2 pstronguMinimum/u/strong/p ul liHigh school graduate or equivalent/li listrongBilingual English/Spanish/strong/li liValid California driver’s license and proof of auto insurance/li liClean driving record for a minimum period of three years prior to hire; must maintain clean driving record throughout employment/li liCurrent CPR certification./li liMust successfully complete initial training program/li /ul pstronguRequired Skills/Knowledge/Abilities/u/strong/p ul liThorough knowledge of  VCC facility locations and San Diego’s North County area/li liAbility to read/interpret directional maps (e.g., Thomas Bros) and to use GPS systems/li liStrong customer focused communication skills/li liAbility to drive safely in inclement weather. /li liDemonstrated dependability, ability to meet deadlines and adherence to all safety regulations.strong /strong/li liExperience/familiarity with computers, Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel), business e-mail communication systems and internet search capabilities/li /ul pstrongPay Range/strong/p ul li$21.00 - $22.00 per hour/li /ul
