The Safety Professional will be responsible for identifying safety hazards and communicating with site crews and management to mitigate these hazards. The successful candidate must be a team player, good communicator, and knowledgeable of Federal, State, Local, General Contractor and Owner Requirements governing the project./p pstrongProject Details/strong/p ul listrongProject Location: Dorchester, MA/strong/li listrongPay Range: $45-$55/hour DOE/strong/li listrongAnticipated Start Date: Late October/Early November 2025/strong/li listrongAnticipated Duration: 18-24 months/strong/li listrongAnticipated Hours/Week: 40 hours/week (M-F)/strong/li listrongProject Type: Commercial Building Construction/strong/li listrongPer Diem: Not available, local applicants only/strong/li /ul pstrongJOB REQUIREMENTS:/strong/p ul liDevelop positive professional relationships while working closely with field personnel, all levels of management and outside agencies during all phases of construction./li liCoordinate and conduct audits of all crews to identify areas for improvement of unsafe work conditions and practices and recognize those for safe work practices./li liDocument and communicate site audit information./li liAudit training records of all field personnel./li liImplement all federal, local, and site programs, policies, and procedures./li liReceive, review, and participate with the development of accident briefs, safety-related publications, bulletins, and reports./li liParticipate with the development of Site-Specific Safety Plans and kick off/safety meetings/li liReview client/owner specific requirements and determine our client complies./li /ul pstrongMINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:/strong/p ul liCurrent CPR / First Aid Card Required/li liOSHA 30 Hour Construction Required/li liCHST, OSHA 500 Preferred/li li3-5 Relevant safety experience required/li /ul pstrongCOMPUTER SKILLS:/strongbr / Ability to perform basic word processing and generate spreadsheets as necessary. Also, access and use the Internet and E-mail.br / br / strongPHYSICAL DEMANDS:/strongbr / While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be required to stand, bend, squat, sit demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear, and see.
