Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in West Branch, Michigan.

Job Description & Requirements

• Responsibilities:
  • Inject and administer radiopharmaceuticals; assay activities; calculate volumes/concentrations per protocol
  • Perform lab procedures including preparation of radiopharmaceutical kits and unit doses
  • Position patients per Nuclear Medicine protocols; monitor patients during procedures
  • Start IV access using aseptic techniques
  • Operate all Nuclear Medicine instrumentation (gamma cameras, SPECT, PET, dose calibrators)
  • Conduct quality control for all equipment
  • Follow Radiation Safety practices (ALARA) and NRC guidelines
• Additional Skills/Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Radiology Information System (RIS) and HIS preferred
  • Independent judgment and initiative in technical procedures
  • Adherence to all safety, infection control, and hospital policies

Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years Nuclear Med Tech experience Certifications Required: ARRT(N) or CNMT, BLS (AHA)
