Our team is looking for an energetic, driven, and dynamic person who enjoys managing daily customer interactions. We currently have an opening to join our sales team, where you'd work in our inside sales group to manage incoming quote requests, process incoming orders, handle customer reach-out to promote relationship building. You would also work alongside the outside sales reps with large scale order processing. Our Inside Sales team members are the central point for all sales activities. An ideal candidate should enjoy the customer facing side of B2B sales, and like to think outside the box when problem solving. Our company supports 3,000 manufacturers, all of which have their own requirements and expectations which we have to try and manage. 

 

Job Skills and Requirements:

  • Sales & Customer Service Skills: Must have B2B sales structure or customer service experience with an outgoing personality ready to always tackle a new problem or reach-out to that next customer to check-in on how things are going.
    • An incentive program will be implemented for the right candidate that demonstrates an understanding of the process, customer requirements while working towards technical/product understanding.
  • Communication: Candidate must have excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Technical Skills: Ability to problem solve, navigate technical channels to find solutions for customer and execute technical quoting structure
  • Computer Skills: Candidate must be proficient using Microsoft Office: Excel, Word & Outlook Email. QuickBooks knowledge also preferred
  • Attention to Detail: Must keep work free of errors when updating equipment records and documents
  • Work Skills: Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

 

Sales Responsibilities & Task Summary:

  • First point of contact in RFQ process
  • Management of customer expectations in RFQ process
  • Order Confirmations
  • Vendor Sourcing
  • Quote Execution
  • Order Receipt
  • Manage/Track Orders & Customer Deliveries / Call and check on status
  • Transition & Inform customers to eCommerce portal
  • Collaborate with Outside Rep to pursue potential customers (commission program eligible once hire demonstrates ability to handle technical aspects of role)
