The Brad and Alys Smith Outdoor Economic Development Collaborative at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a (Remote) Temporary Part-time Trail Signage Specialist.
About the Opportunity
This position will coordinate with OEDC's Infrastructure Coordinator and WVU Trails manager.
What You'll Do
Draft ready-to-print trail signage for trails on WVU campus
Draft and vet print-ready artwork for use on trailhead kiosks, trailside navigation signage, emergency response locators, and interpretive signage
Use GIS data, ARCPro, and Adobe Creative Suite products to update trail maps and wayfinding signage
Provide writing and editing support on signage related publications
Assist with editing and publishing of WVU Trail Signage Toolkit
Length of Assignment: 12 MonthsWork Hours: Approximately 4.5 hours per week
Pay Grade: 16
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience involving:
- Developing trail and open space signage
- Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.
