Position Summary: Industrial Machinery Mechanic / Millwright
The Industrial Machinery Mechanic / Millwright is a hands-on role responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex industrial machinery. This position requires strong mechanical and technical skills, including proficiency with hand and power tools, and a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The ideal candidate will actively engage in troubleshooting and hands-on repairs, demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, and possess the physical stamina needed for demanding tasks. Meticulous record-keeping and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical manuals are also essential to ensure efficient equipment operation and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identifying the root cause of machinery malfunctions using testing equipment, blueprints, and diagnostic software.

• Repair and Maintenance: Disassembling, repairing, and reassembling machinery components, replacing worn or broken parts, and ensuring proper lubrication and alignment.

• Installation and Setup: Assisting with the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.

• Record Keeping: Maintaining detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used.

Essential Skills:

• Mechanical Skills: Proficiency in using hand and power tools, understanding mechanical systems, and reading technical manuals.

• Problem-Solving: Analytical and critical thinking skills to diagnose and resolve complex machinery problems.

• Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and computer-controlled machinery.

• Physical Stamina: The ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various environments.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
