Position: Quality Auditor
Pay Rate: $15.75 - $16.25/hr
Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift
Location: Waller, TX 77484

What You’ll Be Doing

We’re hiring immediately for a Quality Auditor role in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The Quality Inspector will execute the first article inspection program including receiving, measuring, and documenting the status of components or materials. Following the process with a high level of detail and precision to assure the accuracy of measurement results. Document results utilizing the Excel based forms, FAI database and Live Source while following data management protocol. Communicate the results with suppliers and others as well as resolve measurement differences. Work with cross- functional individuals and suppliers to complete the FAI approval. Responsibilities may include:

  • Document the receipt of FAI submissions

  • Audit supplier measurement results on new or revised purchased parts

  • Data Entry into the MAPICS FAI database and Live Source

  • Document the results of the first article inspections and communicate to the Engineer, supplier, and others

  • Properly interpret Engineering drawings, specifications, and standards

  • High level use of a variety of precision measurement tools

  • Precise use of data management in Mapics and Shared drive

  • Inspect and provide data for dimensional characteristics as needed to assist quality investigations

  • Communicate the part status as needed to other functional departments and individuals

  • Perform other duties as needed

  • Exceptional ability of use of  measurement tools such a calipers, micrometer, high gauge, pin gauges and other measurement and test devices

  • Measurement analysis capability

  • Experience with statistical methods

  • Microsoft Office working knowledge – Outlook, Word, Excel

  • Intermediate written and verbal communication skills

  • More duties may be assigned upon hire.

What You’ll Need

  • 1-2 years as a quality auditor or equivalent in Manufacturing

  • Exceptional ability of use of  measurement tools such a calipers, micrometer, high gauge, pin gauges and other measurement and test devices

  • Measurement analysis capability

  • Properly interpret Engineering drawings, specifications, and standards

Additional Information

  • 1st shift, 5:00am - 3:30pm

  • 2nd/3rd shift, 3:30pm - 2:00am

  • 1st shift, 6:00am - 6:00pm

  • 3rd shift, 6:00pm - 6:00am

  • Monday - Saturday
