About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations for commercial construction projects. The Superintendent is responsible for on-site leadership, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards, while coordinating closely with project management and subcontractor teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily on-site supervision of commercial construction projects.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
  • Enforce compliance with safety standards and company policies.
  • Monitor project progress, quality, and workmanship to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Proactively identify and resolve field issues to minimize delays.
  • Conduct regular site meetings with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation of site activities.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to align on budgets, schedules, and client expectations.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction (drywall and interiors experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage schedules, subcontractors, and job site operations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with a focus on teamwork.
  • Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (Procore, MS Project, or similar).
  • OSHA certification preferred.
