\nThe Role\n
We are seeking an Expert CNC Programmer to join our prototyping and small-batch production team. This role is ideal for a seasoned programmer who thrives in a high-mix environment and can take projects from CAD model to proven-out NC program with minimal support. You’ll be working with 3- to 5-axis CNC mills and mill-turn machines across a fleet of 6–10 machines.
\nKey Responsibilities\n

- Review 3D CAD models & drawings to create initial manufacturing plans \n
- ️ Define machining processes, workholding requirements, and tooling BOMs \n
- Generate, simulate, and verify NC programs offline (3–5 axis mills & mill-turns) \n
- ✅ Ensure programs are collision-free and operator-ready before release \n
- Collaborate with project managers, machinists, quality, and sales during quoting & production \n
- Troubleshoot machining issues and update programs as needed \n
- Prioritize tasks based on shop schedule and deadlines \n
Skills & Qualifications\n
- \n
- 8+ years of offline CNC programming experience across multiple software platforms \n
- Deep understanding of GD&T and complex technical drawings \n
- Knowledge of machining forces, tooling limits, workholding, and process optimization \n
- Experienced in machining aluminum, steels, stainless, titanium, nickel alloys, tool steels \n
- Skilled with holemaking, carbide tooling, insert tooling, threadmaking, and specialty tools \n
- Ability to program complex geometries: micromachining, high MRR roughing, 3D surfacing, 5-axis finishing \n
- Strong organization, task management, and problem-solving skills \n
