Title: Estimator

Location: Loudoun County, VA

Salary: $95 - $125K

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed and accurate estimates for time, cost, labor, and scope across multiple disciplines, including quantity take-offs.
• Build strong subcontractor/vendor relationships by soliciting, evaluating, and negotiating bids, while leading meetings to align on scopes, strategy, and risk management.
• Ensure accuracy and competitiveness by reviewing and finalizing estimates, tracking estimated versus actual costs, and driving improvements in estimating methods.
• Contribute to winning work by preparing RFQs, RFPs, and proposals, conducting site visits, and collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and conceptual/self-perform estimating.
• Detail-oriented, and organized with great communication and time management skills.
• Field experience is desirable.
