Job Summary

Service Specialists recruiting agency is seeking an experienced Escrow Officer/Paralegal to join a leading title company in Flowood. The ideal candidate will have extensive title and escrow experience, managing the full closing process from preliminary order to post-closing. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to balance a high-volume workload, and a client-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage real estate escrow transactions from start to finish.
• Review and prepare all closing documents, including CDs, deeds, mortgages, notes, affidavits, and more.
• Obtain and clear title by resolving defects, satisfying liens, and managing title reports.
• Balance funds and disburse loan proceeds in accordance with lender approval.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience through clear communication and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3+ years of escrow/title closing experience (preferred).
• Experience with CD preparation and balancing, commitment and policy preparation, and post-closing.
• Familiarity with closing documents and ability to explain them clearly to clients.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SoftPro experience a plus.
