Job Summary

Travel Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
Start: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 7a - 7p, call required

**Call requirements: 7p-7a following each 7a-7p shift; 3 shifts a week

**1+ years experience required

RT Certification required
Experience with Arterial Blood Gas draws, EKGs, intubating/vents, breathing treatment required
**Experience with PFTs preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.

  • Engage in continuous learning to enhance personal and professional growth.

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

  • Stay updated with the latest respiratory therapy techniques and equipment.

  • Contribute to a high-visibility work environment with measurable results.

  • Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment usage.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for therapy sessions.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.

  • Utilize pipelines to assess potential success in therapy outcomes.

  • Adapt to evolving healthcare practices and technologies.

  • Collaborate with healthcare team to develop comprehensive care plans.

  • Participate in performance reviews and goal-setting sessions.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Hold current certification as a Respiratory Therapist from a recognized board.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy in a clinical setting.

  • Proficient in using the latest respiratory therapy equipment and techniques.

  • Strong ability to educate patients and families on respiratory care protocols.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

  • Ability to adapt to evolving healthcare practices and technologies.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and safety standards.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in high-visibility environments with measurable outcomes.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with healthcare teams.

  • Experience in maintaining detailed and accurate patient records.
