Position Title: Final Inspection Lead
Schedule: M-F (9:00-6:00)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Final Inspection Lead with 1–3 years of leadership experience to join our Treske Precision Machining facility, supporting critical military and aerospace customers. The Final Inspection Lead will oversee inspection processes, including in-house machined parts and outsourced surface treatments, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. This role is vital in maintaining the highest level of quality for both machined components and treated surfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the final inspection team to achieve quality objectives.
  • Perform final inspections on machined components to verify compliance with customer specifications, blueprints, and internal requirements.
  • Assist with scheduling priority parts and product movement to help achieve on-time delivery.
  • Conduct incoming inspections of outsourced processes, including standard aerospace/military surface treatments such as:
    • Chemical conversion coatings
    • Paint applications
    • Powder coating
  • Use industry-standard measurement devices (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparators, etc).
  • Interpret and apply technical drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications accurately.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, including AS9100 and other applicable aerospace/military requirements.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve nonconformance issues.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the inspection process.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or machining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of and hands-on experience with industry-standard measurement tools.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and customer specifications.
  • Experience inspecting outsourced special processes (chemical conversion, paint, powder coat, or similar) preferred.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards (preferred).
  • Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience strongly desired.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills.
Job Conditions/Physical Requirements

·         Requires prolonged sitting and driving. 

·         Must be able to lift 50 LBS repeatedly.

·         Must be able to work in severe weather conditions; both heat and cold.

·         Vehicles: Transit Van & Transit Box Truck (10,000 pounds)

Education and Qualifications
  • High School or equivalent education and 5+ years of related manufacturing/warehouse experience.  
  • Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal. 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. CDL not required.
