Billing Specialist II - Neurosurgery & Spine Specialists Clinic - Full-Time, Days _Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together_ Work location: 800 5 th Avenue, Suite 500, Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Neurosurgery & Spine Specialists Clinic Highlights: + Positive Company Culture + Opportunity to make a positive contribution + Opportunity to enhance your goals and values Here's What You Need + High School Diploma or Equivalent (required) + 2 Years Billing Experience in a Health Care Environment (required) + Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills + Demonstrate effective customer service and communication skills + Proficient computer skills + Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism What You Will Do + Delivers care to patients utilizing the Billing Specialist II process + Coordinate copies of medical documentation with physician charges to support billing to third-party payers. + File and enter billing for patients into system and analyzes patient accounts to ensure billing is accurate. + Resolve routine patient billing inquiries and problems, handling follow-up questions from patients, resolving discrepancies or errors. + Review medical coding as necessary and enters patient charges into billing applications. + Perform other duties as assigned.
