Warehouse Laborer

A warehouse laborer is responsible for receiving, processing, and managing inventory, ensuring efficient operations within the warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Receiving and Processing Shipments: Inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage, sort, label, and store items in designated locations according to inventory management protocols. 

    

2. Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring products are handled safely to minimize damage. 

    

3. Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels, updating records using warehouse management systems (WMS). 

    

4. Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment, performing routine maintenance checks. 

    

5. Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards, reporting any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly. 

    

6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and participate in team meetings to discuss process improvements. 

    

Skills and Qualifications

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 75lbs heavy items and perform physical labor for extended periods.

• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.

• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to operate equipment safely.

• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic data entry.
